07/01 A special announcement from Paul…
As many of you know, the competition for “exclusive” reviews has taken a turn for the worse in most cases. It isn’t fun anymore. But one person, one man, who no matter who you are…influenced all of us. You may not have started reviewing figures because of him, but whoever it was that started you on the reviewing journey, was probably this guy. Dyansis (silverbolt or simon as his friends know him), has been on youtube for some time, (probably longer then some of you have known about youtube itself) and has entertained us with his knowledge and reviews for just as long. Recently, with the announcement of a Universe/Classics 2.0 version of his namesake, “Silverbolt”, simon has asked to be able to offer this review as a special 100th video episode for himself. Now the problem with this, is the attention grabbers (namely 3 in particular) don’t seem to really care much if Simon makes this request. The threat that someone will do it before Simon is very real. I think it’s very deserving of Simon to be able to review this figure before anyone else. So i offer this course of action. If anyone, other then Simon, reviews the upcoming silverbolt figure (as a auction for the figure has recently been posted on ebay) and you are currently subscribed to them….UNSUBSCRIBE to them. If you plan on helping us to support Simon, please visit our forums and find the thread in the general section “Silverbolts 100th review” and show your support. thank you

a auction for the silent animated figure has appeared on ebay…take a look in the forums for the auction…
06/23 A Bridge Too Close…
Cartoon Network has put a update out there to inform people that the season 2 finale of Transformers Animated will air July 5th. But will not be broken into 2 weeks worth of shows, but rather a full hour long special. So on July 5th, part 1 will be on at 10:30 AM est, and part 2 will be on at 11:00 AM est.
06/21 News From The Toronto Transformers Convention
Our fellow Transformer fan and forum regular, Robofeeney and his girlfriend Lambsauce have updated us with news from the TFCon in Toronto.
The City Commander Ultra Magnus Armour is being released now in two versions; the Ultra Magnus colors and Powered Convoy, an homage to the original pre-Transformer Magnus. Still no pictures are being allowed to be taken of the 25th Anniversary line. To clear up a few misconceptions on toys being shown in the line, The Hound and Ravage Deluxe Class set will feature a brand new Classics Hound mold, as well as a fully articulated Ravage that transforms into a cassette and fits into G1 Soundwave.
25th Anniversary Cyclonus comes with his Targetmaster partner Nightstick, both of which are fully articulated and Cyclonus is nearly identical to his IDW comic version.
Cheetor is a perfect replica of a real cheetah, isn’t as chunky and strange as his original Beast Wars toy, and has an amazing transformation which puts him into a nearly identical version of his TV show counterpart.
Also, the people who created the Ultra Magnus Armour have created a new Optimus Prime and Starscream pack, in which you get an electronic light-up Matrix for Prime and a holdable scaled-down version of Classics/Henkei Megatron’s gun mode (two colors available) for Starscream to weild and use.
And there you have it! Lots of great news coming out of the Toronto TFCon. And a huge thanks to Robofeeney & Lambsauce!
Update! Robofeeney & Lambsauce have sent us a few pictures they were able to take via their phone from the TFCon.

06/20 Welcome to The Optibotimus Show
Originally started February 19, 2008. Two shows where created to be able to bring the fans a “talk show” feel to news relating to the world of Transformers. After two successful episodes (a total of over 21000 views on youtube) the show was put onto a different path. A live version was created, and remaned “the transformers matrix”. A site was created with forums and a place to view video reviews. Creative differences separated the two hosts and while The Transformers Matrix still exists, the Optibotimus Show was poised for a return. Demand for the shows return was shown in the way of many separate emails, asking for the origanal host of The Optibotimus Show to return. Quickly things were put in motion and here we are today. So welcome to you, the fans. This site is nothing without you and it’s a testament to the power of voices of so many. We here at The Optibotimus Show hope you enjoy your time with us. Feel free to contact us, via the forums for any feedback. And again, Welcome back…
